Drone Technology (UAS Services)

Smarter Site Data. Safer Field Work. Complete Data Control.

Brownfield Environmental Engineering Resources integrates FAA Part 107 certified UAS drone services into our environmental and engineering workflows, enhancing safety, improving data quality, and giving clients full control over sensitive site information.

As a private consulting firm, Brownfield maintains complete ownership of all flight data, imagery, and deliverables. Sensitive site information never passes through unmanaged third-party platforms or cloud services. Every UAS mission we fly is planned, executed, and managed entirely within Brownfield’s secure internal systems.

Why UAS Technology Changes Environmental Work

Traditional field methods often require personnel to enter high-risk or difficult-to-access areas, unstable structures, steep slopes, contaminated zones, or active remediation sites. Drone technology eliminates or reduces many of these exposures while simultaneously delivering higher-quality, more consistent spatial data than ground-based methods alone.

Repeatable waypoints, geotagged aerial imagery at scheduled project intervals

Pre-field hazard evaluation, access planning, and site overview

Tank, pipeline, landfill cover, and stormwater feature inspections without lifts or scaffolding and stockpile volume estimates

Rapid aerial situational awareness during environmental incidents

Orthomosaics, digital elevation models (DEMs), and stockpile volume estimates

Processed deliverables integrated with soil, groundwater, and air data

Data Privacy and Security
All UAS data collected by Brownfield — including raw imagery, flight logs, intermediate processing files, and final deliverables is stored and managed exclusively within Brownfield's internal systems. We share data only through client-approved channels, ensuring that sensitive visual or locational site information is protected throughout the project. These services are commonly integrated into renovation, demolition, and brownfield redevelopment projects where the presence of hazardous materials must be identified and properly managed to meet regulatory requirements and protect all parties involved.
