Position Overview
Brownfield is seeking a full-time Environmental Technician. This position offers the opportunity to gain diverse experience across environmental projects while working with a respected and growing team. The role includes both field and office responsibilities with travel throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain field monitoring equipment
- Perform on-site monitoring for DOT projects
- Manage contaminated soil operations
- Assist with proposals and bids
- Conduct soil and groundwater sampling
- Analyze laboratory data and prepare reports
- Assist with asbestos surveys
- Transport samples to laboratories
- Follow all safety standards on projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Some experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule and adaptable work style
