Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
A Phase I ESA identifies Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) through historical research, regulatory database review, site reconnaissance, and interviews without any sampling. Brownfield’s Phase I assessments comply with ASTM E1527-21 and meet All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) standards required for innocent landowner protections.
Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
When a Phase I identifies RECs requiring further investigation, Brownfield’s Phase II ESA services include soil borings, groundwater monitoring well installation, and laboratory analysis to characterize site conditions and evaluate risk. Our licensed professionals provide clear interpretation of results with practical recommendations for next steps.
